Argon Technical is focussed on providing a quality, personal service to its clients over various work types. Using up to date electronic data recording and transfer methods, the Company remains at the forefront of its business activities after 20 years of operation.

Gas Audit

Social and private landlords as well as private customers require the piece of mind that the gas work undertaken in their home has been completed safety with a quality job being left ensuring value for money. As a truly independent auditing company Argon Technical Ltd provide the independent report to fulfil this requirement.

As the Company works with around 35 social landlords providing the reports, technical support and training to staff to allow a better understanding of the work being completed by the installation & maintenance contractor.

Electric Audit

As with the gas audits, our electrical team provides the same detailed technical reporting and support that the customer needs when discussing matters with the contractors. Specific training and support can be arranged to allow staff the understanding of the work being carried out in clear and concise manner.

EPC

Since 2008, the Energy Assessors with the Company have provided EPC's when a change of tenancy, or upgrade of a property takes place. In addition the Energy Assessors can work with the customer to determine solutions to meet energy efficiency targets within budget constraints.

Metering

Our Gas Safe registered meter engineers provide a full gas meter installation, exchange and emergency call out service across Scotland for suppliers and Meter Asset Managers ( MAMs) The engineers undertake work from U6 to U160 diaphragm meters to rotary meters for commercial users. The engineers can also install remote reading devices to allow customer to monitor their usage.

Maintenance and testing of commercial pipework can also be provided for those customers who require regular pipework test for insurance purposes. All work and reports are completed meeting the current Gas Safe and IGEM standards.

Smart Meters

With the Government setting targets to install smart meters in 50 million properties by 2020, Argon gas engineers have undergone significant additional training to allow the installation of electric meters at the same time. The engineers have also complete Scottish Powers' WI1 OP3 training to allow upgrade to the cut out at the same time when working under the customers SP authorisation.
